The new Polaroid University iOS app is now available for download in the iTunes store. The app offers Polaroid University members full access to the course’s library of episodes from their iPhone or iPad. Just in time for the holiday season, Polaroid University is now offering a one-year subscription pack. An ideal gift for anyone starting out in photography or as a companion gift to the latest smartphone, the subscription pack allows users access to the entire Polaroid University library of over 40 educational episodes taught by professional photographers. The subscription pack is currently available at Amazon for $9.95 and will be available at select retailers in 2017.
All Polaroid University episodes are instructed by highly skilled professional photographers, including Polaroid University founder Serota who is well-known for his work in sports, fashion and entertainment photography. Episodes are broken down into three categories—Fundamentals, Topics, and On The Road. “Fundamentals” teaches basic photographic concepts such as composition and lighting, and demonstrates how they can be used to make great photos and videos on a smartphone. “Topics” is comprised of episodes on techniques that will take a user’s skills to the next level like slow motion video or low light photography. In “On the Road”, members can join Serota as he explores the world through a camera lens, offering some great tips along the way.
All Polaroid University episodes can be accessed at polaroiduniversity.com or on the Polaroid University iOS app, available for free in the iTunes store. Additionally, the Polaroid University subscription pack is currently available on Amazon. A one-year unlimited Polaroid University subscription is $9.95.
