Polaroid was founded in 1937 by one of the most seminal innovators of the 20th century, Edwin Land. The role

As Operations Manager you are responsible for building and maintaining KPI reporting for the operations department. You will be providing analytics to help increase visibility on key reporting metrics for both the global operational teams and the local sales entity. You will also act as the first escalation point on all warehousing, logistics and operational issues as they appear. You will help support and lead business improvement related conversations with our logistical vendors and internal groups.

Objectives of the role

  • Execute on all escalated day-to-day operational issues
  • Development of reportable metrics and data analysis to support operational improvement projects
  • Use reportable metrics to identify, reduce, and eliminate issues, cost increases and inefficiencies in the daily business processes
  • Document and maintain routing guide specs across major retail customers and categories
  • Assist the Senior Operations Manager on business improvement projects

Daily responsibilities

  • Partnering with the order management team to ensurewholesale orders are processed and shipped in accordance with customer routing procedures
  • Monitor day to day relationship and communications with 3PL warehouse & other logistics partners to ensure escalated issues are resolved and escalations are handled
  • Development and maintenance of analytics and reporting on key operational KPIs to ensure continuous improvement, with a focus on operational excellence
  • Work with Senior Operations Manager to improve processes, streamline inbound/outbound workflows, and execute on special projects
  • Champion effectivities in internal operational process especially as related to training, process documentation and enhancing ERP systems

  • The ideal candidate

  • 5+ years of related experience in Operations, Supply Chain required
  • 4+ years of experience with KPI development and data analytics
  • 2-3 years of experience in team leadership position
  • 3+ years of working with major retailers required
  • Implementation or ERP migration experience considered an advantage, especially if Microsoft based
  • Ability to travel to warehouse weekly as necessary

What to expect

This is a full-time role based in our New York office, We are currently working up to 40% from home. You will be reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.
