"I'm
particularly attracted to the Polaroid emulsions and
have been for many years," Tenneson says. "I love the
distinctive qualities of Polaroid films especially as
they render skin tones. Since all my works involve some
form of working with people, either in portraits or
in figure work, the skin tones are very crucial to me."

Tenneson
is attracted to all types of Polaroid film, from color
to B&W:
"I use them all," she notes. In addition to her use
of Polaroid film for her personal work, Tenneson champions
Polaroid film in the workshops and seminars she conducts
in diverse venues around the globe. |

"I
use PolaPan film a lot in my workshops so that we can
look at things right away, for example," she says. "My
students love PolaPan instant slides. They love the
tones they get and often scan the slides directly into
the computer to make prints for their portfolios." |
