"During the following days, I go back into each print with watercolors to extend the images, blend the edges and delicately heal "lift offs." This more contemplative work allows me to combine my love for photography, color and painting and brings a more sensual, hands-on experience into the photographic process. The resulting artwork may be scanned and printed out on watercolor paper for exhibiting.

"The transfer process is also always open to endless, playful possibilities. The subtle elements of natural "happenings," magic and surprise resonate well with the subject of nature.
