It is
this landscape of the interior, and my attempts to give it
visible expression through pinhole photography, that continue
to fascinate me. Pinhole photography, with all its mystical
potential, enables me to pursue my ongoing exploration of
time and memory.

Jesseca
Ferguson has been making pinhole photographs since 1991. Her
work has been supported by the MacDowell Colony, the Engelhard
Foundation, Polaroid Corporation, and Art Matters, Inc., among
others. Her pinhole images are held in public and private
collections, including the Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge, Massachusetts;
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Harry Ransom Humanities Research
Center, Austin, Texas; Museet for Fotokunst, Odense, Denmark;
and the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris, France. She
lives, works, and teaches in Boston, Massachusetts.
