Sandi Fellman, a former professor of photography at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of Photography, graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a B.S. and a MFA. She now devotes her time to art and commercial photography. Her work is widely exhibited and is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Polaroid Collections, Waltham; and the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris, among many others. “The Japanese Tattoo” was published in 1986 by Abbeville Press and recently enjoyed its fifth printing.
