WORTH, Texas (April 5, 2008)- The No. 41 Polaroid Team battled a loose-in, tight-off condition all day Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway in the running of the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) O’Reilly 300. The Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) team and its driver Kyle Krisiloff were doing their best to stay on track, but on lap 190 they received an unexpected tap from the No. 20 car, driven by Tony Stewart, that sent the Polaroid Dodge smashing into the outside wall. The car received substantial damage from the impact and forced the team to retire early from the race just 10 laps shy of the finish line in 33rd place.

Krisiloff radioed his team throughout Saturday’s run to say he was looking for more grip on the track. Crew Chief Brian Pattie called for multiple adjustments in the pits to try to help the car get a better handle on the track, but the car’s mishandling only seemed to worsen and sent the team into a multiple-lap deficit as the race progressed.

It was on lap 156 when the No. 41 CGRFS Dodge let go of the track and spun on the backstretch of the 1.5-mile speedway. Luckily, the car did not receive any major damage from the spin so the team was able to quickly fit the car with fresh tires and send Krisiloff back on track. Unfortunately, less than 35 laps later the CGRFS NNS team watched its No. 41 Polaroid car go smashing into the outside wall after receiving a tap from the No. 20 car. The team called it a day after that in 33rd place.

The No. 41 CGRFS NNS team is 29th in the overall NNS owner standings. With a current tally of 531 points, the team is 285 outside the top 15 and 329 outside the top 10.

Next, the CGRFS Nationwide teams head to Phoenix International Raceway to drive under the lights in the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 on Friday, April 11. The NNS race is scheduled to start at 9:45 p.m. ET and will broadcast live on ESPN2 and MRN Radio.
