POLAROID ANNOUNCES LANDMARK 2012 CES PROGRAM

Polaroid's CES Lineup Celebrates the Evolution, Magic and Fun of the Polaroid Instant Experience in The Las Vegas Convention Center's Central Hall, Booth Number 13613

LAS VEGAS (Jan. 10, 2012) - When the doors open to the 2012 International CES at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Polaroid will once again surprise and delight attendees with ongoing activities and announcements that will take place at its booth during the show. Polaroid's stunning booth will be buzzing with never before seen new products, social experiences and interactive creative sessions with artistic luminaries that will deliver excitement and instant fun for all CES attendees.

"Over the past 75 years, Polaroid has treated moments caught on analog, instant digital, digital and mobile devices to the quintessential Polaroid instant experience," said Scott W. Product Announcements

On Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. PST on Spike TV and later on Spike.com and Polaroid.com, Polaroid will make a pivotal product announcement around the ongoing advancement of the Polaroid instant experience. The announcement furthers Polaroid's most recent product announcements that connect instant photography to the digital world.

Polaroid will present and demonstrate the latest addition to the Polaroid instant family for the first time at the Polaroid booth, located in the Las Vegas Convention Center's Central Hall, #13613 on January 10, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. PST

Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera

Capture, create and share your CES moments with the newest member of the Polaroid instant digital family, the Z340. Named a CES Innovations Award Honoree, the Polaroid Z340 delivers a new twist on the instant experience by combining a 14.0 megapixel camera with a ZINK®-enabled printer, featuring ZINK Imaging's Zero Ink® printing technology, to instantly deliver a 3x4'' print - the same size as the classic Polaroid photos.

Stop by the Polaroid booth during the show to see how easy it is to turn digital images into a new social currency and receive a Polaroid photo in less than one minute. Stage presentations at the Polaroid booth will demonstrate how the Z340 goes beyond the expected with a feature set that drills down the process of creating, editing and sharing photos to an instant experience.

Spectacular High-Definition Content

All of the Polaroid TVs in the booth will play content from Univision's top rated specials, live events and sport tournaments. Created by Univision especially for Polaroid's booth at CES 2012, a compilation of highlights from Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina, Premios Juventud, Copa Oro and Copa America will play throughout the show in dazzling high-definition.

Chase Jarvis

Acclaimed photographer, author and artistic force Chase Jarvis will host an interactive creative session at the Polaroid booth on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. PST. Jarvis will join Polaroid fans for a discussion about collaboration and sharing in both the physical and digital worlds and show his newest video on the Polaroid Z340, including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.  Make sure to stop by the Polaroid booth for a chance to participate in an audience Q&A and hear Jarvis' thoughts on creativity and connectivity. 

Katie Linendoll

Tech expert Katie Linendoll will be at the Polaroid booth from January 10 - 11, 2012. She will give an overview of Polaroid's new product portfolio throughout the show, live on the Polaroid stage.  Personifying all things fun, modern and innovative in the tech world, Linendoll is a blogger, Emmy nominated technology host and contributes to several television and online networks.

Jim McHugh

Renowned photographer and Polaroid fan Jim McHugh will present on his more than 30 years of experience photographing common things in an uncommon manner. Famous for his large format Polaroid prints of Los Angeles and artist portraits of David Hockney, Richard Diebenkorn, and Robert Irwin, McHugh will be live on the Polaroid stage January 10 - 12, 2012. McHugh is currently participating in the Getty Museum's Pacific Standard Time program. The second half of the exhibit will open in April 2012 and includes photos captured with the new Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera.
