Recall Information for Battery Pack of Select Portable DVD Players

Petters Consumer Brands, LLC recently advised the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) of possible overheating of battery packs during the charging process on select models of Polaroid branded portable DVD players. In cooperation with the CPSC, Petters Consumer Brands is initiating a voluntary recall of certain battery packs that were included with two models of Polaroid portable DVD players. The affected model numbers are PDV-0700 and PDV-0800. The affected battery packs were manufactured between April of 2003 and October of 2003.
